The Head of the Union of Arab Journalists, Moayad Al-Lami, congratulated the new head of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate, Khaled Al-Balshi, and its new members, on the occasion of their election.
Al-Lami said in the congratulatory telegram sent to Al-Balshi: I am pleased, on behalf of myself and on behalf of the General Union of Arab Journalists, to send to you and the honorable brothers who won the elections of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate in the honorable elections that took place on Friday, March 17, and which I had the honor of attending myself and some colleagues from the Union. We wish you and your colleagues every success in serving the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.
Al-Lami added that your choice to assume this high position reflects the confidence of the General Assembly of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate in you and your ability to work to raise the status of the Egyptian press and serve Egyptian journalists.
Al-Lami concluded the telegram by saying: We wish you continued success, and the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, progress and prosperity
