Baghdad: Nouri al-Maliki, head of the State of Law Coalition, and a delegation from the National Statement Bloc highlighted the significance of sustained dialogue and coordination among political forces within the Council of Representatives.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Maliki’s media office reported that he welcomed a delegation from the National Statement Bloc, led by MP Abdul Amir al-Mayahi, to discuss the latest political developments and events affecting the nation.
The meeting delved into key issues on the political agenda, such as upcoming milestones and strategies to strengthen understanding among national forces. This approach aims to unify visions and positions while maintaining the stability of the political process. Discussions also covered national security concerns, the necessity for official institutions to monopolize arms, and efforts to reinforce the rule of law. Additionally, economic and financial challenges were addressed, emphasizing the need for solutions that bolster the national economy, enhance services, and fulfill citizens’ needs.
