Baghdad: Nouri al-Maliki, Head of the State of Law Coalition, was visited by several prominent political figures who inquired about his health following recent medical tests. The notable visitors included Speaker of the House of Representatives Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, Head of the National Wisdom Movement Ammar al-Hakim, Commander of Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada Abu Ala al-Wala’i, and Secretary-General of Al-Wafaa Movement Shibl al-Zaidi.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Maliki’s media office released a statement highlighting that the visit underscored the visitors’ concern for al-Maliki’s well-being. The delegation extended their wishes for his recovery and lauded his contributions to national politics and efforts towards political stability in the country.

Al-Maliki expressed his gratitude to the delegation for their visit. He acknowledged their supportive stance and appreciated the fraternal sentiments shown by the visiting political leaders.
