Baghdad:Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Mohsen Al-Mandalawi engaged in discussions with a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) to address the resolution of outstanding issues between the federal government and the Kurdistan Region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mandalawi met with KDP’s Hoshyar Zebari, a member of the party’s Political Bureau and head of its Leadership Center in Baghdad, on Wednesday. The discussions focused on recent developments in the country and the unresolved matters between the federal government and the Kurdistan Region.

During the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of political cooperation to address current challenges. They agreed on the need for solutions that adhere to constitutional frameworks to enhance political stability and serve the national interest.
