Baghdad: First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi has extended his congratulations to Amer Shaker Al-Janabi on his recent appointment as the head of the Sunni Endowment Diwan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mandalawi personally met with Al-Janabi to express his well-wishes and support as Al-Janabi assumes his new role. During their meeting, they discussed the significant role that religious institutions play in promoting moderation, balance, and fostering a spirit of brotherhood and coexistence among the various segments of the population. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of integrating the roles of constitutional state institutions to benefit the public good, strengthen national unity, and enhance the paths of security, stability, and development across the country.
