BAGHDAD: Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohsen Al-Mandalawi issued a strong condemnation of what he described as Israeli aggression against Iran, emphasizing Iraq's solidarity with its neighbor. Al-Mandalawi's statement highlighted concerns over violations of international laws and called for decisive measures to protect regional stability. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mandalawi articulated his denunciation of the actions taken by Israel during an early morning incident, labeling it as part of a series of violations by the occupation forces. He expressed Iraq's unwavering support for Iran, criticizing what he termed the "brutal criminal acts" against regional countries and peoples. Al-Mandalawi further cautioned against the potential expansion of conflict by the Israeli forces, suggesting it might be an attempt to divert attention from ongoing challenges and setbacks faced since the inception of Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa over a year ago. He emphasized the importance of addres sing these issues to prevent further civilian casualties and regional instability.
