Baghdad: Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, met with former Deputy Prime Minister Bahaa Al-Araji to discuss the latest political developments in the country and the challenges facing the political landscape amid current circumstances.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from Al-Mashhadani’s office highlighted that both sides emphasized the need to activate national dialogue and strengthen understanding among various political parties in order to promote stability and serve the public interest.

The meeting also touched on ways to enhance cooperation among political forces to reach a unified vision that would contribute to resolving ongoing crises and meeting the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
