Baghdad: Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani emphasized the importance of enhancing joint cooperation among all national forces during a recent meeting.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the media office of the Speaker of Parliament released a statement detailing the meeting between Al-Mashhadani and the head of the Kurdistan Justice Group, Ali Bapir, along with his delegation. The discussions focused on the country's general situation, the pending laws in the House of Representatives, and issues related to public services.

The statement further elaborated on the discussions, which included resolving administrative matters between the federal government and the Kurdistan Region through legal and constitutional channels. The meeting also highlighted the need to encourage active participation in the upcoming elections.

During the discussions, Al-Mashhadani underscored the necessity of unifying efforts among national forces, which he believes will aid in consolidating political stability and supporting the democratic process for the benefit and unity of the Iraqi people.
