Baghdad: Parliament Speaker Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani discussed the upcoming electoral entitlements with the Head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna Al-Samarrai. A statement by the House of Representatives stated, “Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani today visited the head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna al-Samarrai, and discussed with him the upcoming electoral entitlements and the need to coordinate positions on political and security issues of concern to Iraqi society.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Speaker of Parliament emphasized the importance of strengthening communication channels between all active political parties in the country, with the aim of coordinating and unifying visions and attempting to reach positions that reflect the interests of all Iraqis. He emphasized the importance of resolving all differences and working to bring the views of the various political forces closer together.

For his part, the head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna al-Samarrai, praised the great efforts made and continues to be made by the Speaker of Parliament, and his constant endeavor to enhance cooperation and unify efforts to serve the aspirations of citizens and achieve security and stability in the country, in light of the difficult circumstances facing the region.
