Baghdad: In a friendly match, Al-Minaa defeated the youth national team 1-0. Al-Minaa FC secured a 1-0 victory against the national youth team (under 20) in a friendly match held as part of their training camp in Basra. This match was a preparation event for the AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers set to be hosted by Thailand.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the match was attended by Major General Haider Aboud Al-Eidani, the head of Al-Minaa's interim administrative board, along with other board members. This match is part of Al-Minaa's broader preparations for the upcoming football season.
