Al-Mishraq Sulfur Company Exceeds Annual Marketing Goals with Over 2,000 Tons Sold

Baghdad: The General Company for Al-Mishraq Sulfur, under the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, has successfully marketed more than 2,000 tons of its medium-fine agricultural sulfur to the private sector and citizens in 2026. This initiative is part of the company's strategic marketing plan for the year. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company's Director General, Ahmed Abdullah Radhan, confirmed that the company has marketed an impressive 2,345 tons of agricultural sulfur. This achievement represents 150% of the company's annual marketing plan. Radhan noted that the marketing operations are progressing steadily, with direct sales made to both citizens and the private sector to ensure the efficient supply of essential agricultural materials. Radhan also highlighted the crucial role of agricultural sulfur in pest and insect control, which helps in protecting crops. This effort supports farmers and contributes to boosting agricultural production in the region.
