Riyadh: Al-Nassr secured a dramatic 1-0 victory over Neom in their Saudi Pro League match on Saturday evening at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh. The match was part of the 25th round of the competition.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Nassr were without their star player, Cristiano Ronaldo, due to injury. The lone goal came in the 95th minute from Al-Nassr defender Mohammed Simakan.
With this result, Al-Nassr maintains their lead in the standings with 64 points, accumulated from 21 wins, one draw, and three losses. Neom remains in eighth place with 32 points, earned from nine wins, five draws, and 11 losses.
The first leg between the two teams, played in the eighth round, ended in a 3-1 victory for Al-Nassr. Al-Nassr has been on a winning streak, recording 11 consecutive victories, the most recent being a 3-0 win against Al-Fayha.
