Gaza: The Spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, announced the postponement of the handover of Zionist prisoners who were scheduled to be released on Saturday until further notice.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Abu Obeida stated on Monday that the delay is a response to the Zionist enemy's prevention of the entry of relief supplies in all forms, contrary to what had been agreed upon. He emphasized that while the resistance has fulfilled its obligations, the enemy has hindered the return of displaced individuals to the northern Gaza Strip and has targeted them with shelling and gunfire across various areas.
The ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which came into effect on January 19, was intended to initiate a 42-day first phase during which negotiations for a second phase would be conducted. However, these recent developments have cast uncertainty over the progress and adherence to the agreement.
