Baghdad: Rafidain Bank announced on Wednesday an 81.5% increase in electronic collections during August. In a statement, the bank reported that the value of settlements processed for government departments during August 2026 exceeded 1.35 trillion dinars, comprising 77,671 settlements covering 2,836 government departments.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement highlighted that the value of settlements increased by 81.5%, and their number increased by 24.2% compared to August 2025. Additionally, the number of government departments activating the system increased by 33.5%.

The statement noted that these results reflect tangible progress in expanding electronic collection, raising the efficiency of government revenue management, and enhancing transparency and digital transformation in state institutions.
