Doha: Defending champions Al Sadd reached the Qatar Cup final after defeating Al Gharafa 2-1 on Tuesday. Hashim Ali and Mohammed Manaei were the goal scorers for Al Sadd, while Franck Magri found the net for Al Gharafa.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the match saw Al Sadd taking control with Hashim Ali scoring the opening goal in the 25th minute. Al Sadd extended their lead when Mohammed Manaei added a second goal in the 43rd minute. Despite Franck Magri’s early goal for Al Gharafa in the 14th minute, the team could not recover.

Al Gharafa’s chances were further diminished when Rayan Al Ali was sent off in the 86th minute, leaving them with ten players and sealing their fate in the match.
