The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, called for commemorating Eid Al-Ghadir with a group of activities, calling it (Guardianship Day).
Al-Sadr called on those he described as ‘people of Guardianship’ not to neglect visiting the Imam’s shrine on this occasion.
He also called on the artistic elite, including poets and calligraphers, to commemorate the occasion in exchange for valuable prizes.
