Baghdad:Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr, leader of the Shiite National Movement, has expressed his opposition to transforming Iraq into a battleground for political and economic disputes.

According to Iraqi News Agency, al-Sadr conveyed this message to the United States, emphasizing the desire of Iraqis to coexist peacefully and securely with neighboring countries.
