Baghdad: The leader of the Sadrist Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, reaffirmed his firm stance on boycotting the upcoming parliamentary elections, emphasizing his movement’s complete nonparticipation under any circumstances.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sadr’s office reported monitoring attempts by some candidates to entice voters by offering them money in exchange for their electoral cards, allegedly to fund the construction of Hussainiyas.
