Al-Sadr Visits Shrine of Martyr Muhammad Al-Sadr and Sons


Najaf: Sadrist Movement leader Muqtada al-Sadr visited the shrine of martyr Sayyid Muhammad al-Sadr and his two sons. Sadr performed the visitation and prayer rituals at the shrine on the eve of the tenth of Muharram.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the visit holds significance as it coincides with a period of religious reflection and remembrance in the Islamic calendar. The tenth of Muharram, known as Ashura, is observed by many for its historical and religious importance.

Muqtada al-Sadr’s visit to the shrine underscores his connection to the legacy of his family, as Sayyid Muhammad al-Sadr was a prominent figure whose influence continues to resonate within the Sadrist Movement.
