Al-Safi: The custodian of the al-Abbasi (p) holy shrine, Sayyed Ahmed al-Safi, confirmed the holy shrine’s support for researchers and scientific movement that contributes to serving the community. This came during his reception of the head of the Childhood and Youth Division in the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the holy shrine, Hassanein Farouk, who reviewed the topics and discussions of his thesis, entitled (The Role of al-Abbasi (p) holy shrine in achieving the goals of sustainable development in Iraq after 2017 AD).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Safi stressed the holy shrine’s continuous support for researchers and scientific movement, and the endeavor to enhance scientific research and develop programs that serve the community, and provide the appropriate environment for the exchange of knowledge and experiences between researchers and specialists in the fields of sustainable development.

He emphasized the need for scientific documentation of the activities of the holy shrine and its projects in various fields such as education, health, environment, public services, industry, and agriculture. Al-Safi highlighted how these initiatives contributed to improving the quality of life for citizens, noting that the shrine always seeks to be a pioneer in providing sustainable solutions that meet the needs of society.
