Tripoli: Charg© d’affaires at the Iraqi Embassy in Tripoli, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, announced today, Saturday, the repatriation of 40 Iraqi migrants from Libya to Erbil.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sahhaf stated that the plane carrying the 40 Iraqi migrants has departed, heading initially to Istanbul and subsequently to Erbil.

He further mentioned the exceptional efforts undertaken to coordinate the return of these individuals and disclosed plans to repatriate another group of 35 migrants in the near future.
