Samarra: The Head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna Al-Samarrai, received the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Iraq, Jan Schnaidov, in his office in Samarra on Tuesday. They discussed ways of bilateral cooperation and strengthening the partnership between the two countries in the cultural, economic, and academic fields.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, Al-Samarrai, in his capacity as head of the parliamentary committee on the “Samarra, the Capital of Islamic Civilization of Iraq” law, emphasized the importance of preserving human heritage and openness to international experiences in the fields of reconstruction, cultural planning, and development.

The Czech Ambassador was briefed on a number of the city’s landmarks and historical sites and expressed his interest in supporting future cooperation opportunities between Iraqi institutions and their counterparts in the Czech Republic.
