Baghdad: Secretary-General of Ajiyal (Generations) Gathering, MP Mohammed Saadoun Al-Sayhoud, affirmed that the success of the Arab Summit sent a clear message to the world that political, security, and organizational stability has returned to Baghdad.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sayhoud stated in a press release that the 34th Arab Summit held in Baghdad was a notable success, marked by the participation of leaders, princes, and representatives from various countries, along with esteemed guests from Europe and numerous international, regional, and Arab organizations. This gathering was seen as a testament to Iraq's recovery and its re-emergence as a pivotal Arab leader, instrumental in addressing regional crises, particularly those in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Sudan.
Al-Sayhoud emphasized that Iraq's role as the host of the Arab Summit has reinforced the principles of unity, brotherhood, understanding, cooperation, and coordination across different domains such as politics, security, economy, and development. He noted that the region's nations are grappling with internal and external challenges that demand collective efforts to resolve conflicts and bridge differences, thereby advancing the objectives and strategies set forth by the extraordinary Baghdad Summit.
