Diyala: Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee for Million-Man Pilgrimages, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, arrived today at Al-Mundhariya border crossing in Diyala Province to review the ongoing preparations for securing the entry of Arbaeen pilgrims.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Shammari was accompanied by the head of the services committee, the commander of the ground forces, and a number of senior security commanders and officers. He was received by the Governor of Diyala along with the commanders of operations and police in the province.

Upon arrival, the Minister conducted a field tour of the crossing, during which he reviewed the organizational and coordination plans in place to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims and ensure smooth movement. He emphasized the importance of integrated security and service efforts in preparation for this major annual event.
