Baghdad: The Supreme religious authority, Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, stressed that Iraq is currently facing major challenges on more than one level. During his meeting with the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Mohammed al-Hassan, he emphasized the importance of learning from past experiences.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sayyid al-Sistani urged Iraqis, particularly the conscious elites, to reflect on the experiences they have undergone. He called on them to exert maximum effort to overcome past failures and to work diligently towards achieving a future where security, stability, progress, and prosperity are accessible to all citizens of Iraq.
