Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani emphasized the sensitivity of the water issue for Iraq, stating that his government is acting in accordance with joint agreements.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani highlighted the extensive cooperation between Iraq and Turkey in trade and investment, indicating a strong bilateral relationship. He also noted that confronting terrorism is a fundamental aspect of Iraq’s relationship with Turkey, showcasing the commitment of both nations to regional stability.

Al-Sudani reiterated Iraq’s principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, emphasizing the importance of respecting sovereignty. Furthermore, he outlined the Development Road project, which aims to achieve economic integration in the region, underscoring the strategic initiatives being pursued by his government to foster regional cooperation.
