Al-Sudani and Al-Naeem Tribe Emir Discuss Tribal Leadership’s Role in National Unity

Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met with the Emir of the Al-Naeem tribe, Sufyan Omar Al-Ali Al-Naeemi, to discuss the pivotal role tribal sheikhs play in promoting national unity and preserving Iraq's social fabric.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on the importance of tribal leaders and clan sheikhs in uniting ranks and rejecting division. The discussions highlighted the need for collective efforts in combating terrorism, consolidating peaceful coexistence, and preserving Iraqi customs and traditions. The leaders also addressed monitoring societal challenges and their impacts on moral and cultural systems while supporting dialogue to ensure a future that respects the rights of all components.

Al-Naeemi acknowledged the Prime Minister's efforts in safeguarding Iraq from regional crises and praised his achievements in reconstruction and development. He emphasized Al-Sudani's contributions to fostering national identity, stabilizing the nation, providing essential services, and supporting development efforts to meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
