Baghdad: The head of the Al-Azm Alliance, Engineer Muthanna al-Samarrai, met with Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani at his office in Baghdad on Sunday to discuss the evolving situation in the region and its repercussions on Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting addressed the importance of strengthening the national position to shield Iraq from the fallout of regional conflicts. It also emphasized the necessity of fulfilling constitutional requirements and forming a government accordingly, thereby bolstering political stability and supporting state institutions in carrying out their duties during the coming period.
