Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi emphasized the importance of unifying efforts to achieve the aspirations of the Iraqi people. His media office stated that al-Sudani met with Allawi and they reviewed the latest political and economic developments in the country. They stressed the importance of strengthening understandings among national forces and working with a unified vision that contributes to completing the economic and developmental renaissance, thus ensuring the fulfillment of the aspirations and hopes of all Iraqis.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement continued, “They emphasized the importance of unity and strengthening partnership and cooperation among all parties in order to expedite the completion of constitutional requirements, maintain stability, meet the aspirations of citizens, and achieve their goals.”
