Al-Sudani and British Ambassador Discuss Bilateral Relations and Ways to Strengthen and Develop Them

Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani met with the British Ambassador to Iraq, Irfan Siddiq, to discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields. A statement from the Prime Minister's Media Office indicated that "al-Sudani received the British Ambassador to Iraq, Irfan Siddiq."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the British Ambassador conveyed the congratulations of the United Kingdom's government to the Iraqi government and people on the occasion of the parliamentary elections, which were successfully conducted by the Iraqi government and received international praise.

The meeting addressed bilateral relations and explored ways to strengthen and develop them, particularly focusing on the investment, energy, and industry sectors. These discussions aim to contribute to achieving the common interests of both countries.
