Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al Sudani has engaged in discussions with Atwan al Atwani, the Head of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, to review the latest preparations for the 2025 budget tables.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office stated that the meeting focused on reviewing the latest preparations for the 2025 budget tables. The discussions also covered the mechanisms and plans to ensure the financing of salaries and expenditures, categorized by sectors and activities during the current year.

Al Sudani emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring that the budget reflects its priorities in implementing its tables. This commitment aims to complete the components of the government program, particularly those related to providing services and completing projects, thereby fulfilling the aspirations of citizens across all Iraqi governorates.
