Salah al-din: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has reaffirmed his dedication to advancing construction and development initiatives in Iraq. During a speech delivered to a public gathering in Salah al-Din Governorate, al-Sudani emphasized the government’s commitment to launching significant projects in the region.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sudani declared plans to initiate projects focusing on fertilizers and petrochemicals, which he described as pivotal for establishing a major industrial city of regional significance. The Prime Minister highlighted efforts over the past three years to rebuild trust between the citizens, the political system, and the political process.
In his address, al-Sudani stressed the importance of prioritizing Iraq in all governmental decisions and policies, stating that the strength of the state is reflected in tangible achievements that impact the daily lives of its people. He further explained the foundational role of sovereignty, prestige, and strength in a country’s success, starting with upholding citizen dignity and social justice.
Al-Sudani also acknowledged the challenges faced by the Salah al-Din Governorate, attributing them to a history of poor planning, lack of vision, mismanagement, and corruption. The Prime Minister’s commitment aims to address these issues and drive forward the region’s development.
