Babylon: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani announced readiness to launch the Babylon Project, Iraq's Industrial Capital. In a speech during the televised launch of the Hillah Sewerage Project, Phase II, Prime Minister Al-Sudani said, "Babylon Governorate suffers from a shortage of infrastructure projects, especially those related to wastewater." According to National Iraqi News Agency, he commended the efforts of the workers and entities that contributed to the completion of this project, which is part of a British loan. He explained, "Babylon Governorate suffers from a shortage of infrastructure projects, especially those related to wastewater, and the implementation method requires patience and cooperation from citizens due to the deep excavation work." He directed the implementing agency to take safety measures for workers and citizens. The Prime Minister instructed the formation of a team from the governorate's service departments to address any conflicts that may arise during the implementation ph ases, stressing the need for implementation according to the specified specifications and plans, and with a level of service that meets the needs of the people of Babylon Governorate. The Prime Minister emphasized the government's focus on infrastructure projects, as they lay the foundation for development. He noted, "Babylon Governorate is witnessing projects across the industrial and agricultural sectors." He also highlighted the recent launch of major factory projects during his visit to the governorate, as well as the preparations for the launch of the Babylon, Iraq's Industrial Capital, project. The Hillah City Small Greenhouse Sewerage Project (Phase II) is a significant project, as the first phase of the project was launched a year and a half ago. It is an integrated project that includes networks and pumping stations for sewage and rainwater, along with infrastructure works.
