Al-Sudani Arrives in Mosul for Key Inaugurations


Mosul: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani arrived in Mosul this morning, Monday, at the head of a high-ranking government delegation. Al-Sudani’s visit is marked by significant inaugurations of important cultural and religious sites that have undergone reconstruction.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani will officially open the Great Mosque of al-Nuri and its Al-Hadba minaret. These landmarks, which hold historical and cultural value, have been restored to their former state. Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Al-Sa’a and Al-Tahera churches, which have also been reconstructed.



The visit will also include the opening of several service projects in Mosul, indicating a focused effort by the government towards restoration and development in the region.
