Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani praised the persistent and dedicated efforts of all relevant state agencies, security forces of all types and formations, volunteers, and social activists, which contributed to the success of the Arbaeen pilgrimage commemoration of Imam Hussein and his companions (peace be upon them).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a speech during the cabinet session on Tuesday, Al-Sudani said: “The formation of the Supreme Committee for Million-Pilgrimage Pilgrimage, and the accompanying plans and methodology for dealing with religious pilgrimages and occasions, contributed to strengthening the momentum of infrastructure projects.”

The Prime Minister confirmed that work is currently underway on 41 projects out of 100, which are not only for visitors but are also needed by citizens, particularly road and transportation projects.
