Baghdad: After casting his vote, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani expressed gratitude towards the security forces for their significant contribution to maintaining stability during the electoral process. In a televised address from a polling station, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of their role in ensuring a secure environment for the elections.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sudani highlighted the presence of international observers as a measure to provide transparency and a clear picture of the electoral process. He reassured the public that the elections are being conducted in a safe and stable setting, underscoring the efforts of the security personnel in achieving this.
