Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani extended his congratulations to the Yazidi community on Monday in celebration of the Jama’iyya (Jamma) holiday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani expressed his well-wishes through a post on the X platform. He conveyed his congratulations to Yazidis both within Iraq and abroad, emphasizing that this occasion highlights the rich civilization and cultural diversity of the country, which serves as a source of strength and pride.

The Prime Minister further reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting Iraq’s indigenous communities. He noted the government’s dedication to ensuring these communities receive full constitutional rights and support for their religious and cultural activities, thereby reinforcing their presence in Iraq.
