Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has directed immediate attention to developing integrated theoretical and structural formulas for the management and operation of the Development Road.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani chaired a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the legal framework for the Development Road project and its associated projects. During the meeting, he listened to a detailed explanation from the specialized team regarding the observations related to the necessary legal and technical frameworks, as well as the specifications and features included in the procedures for establishing, managing, and operating this strategic project.

The Prime Minister, through a statement from his media office, emphasized the need for immediate action in developing integrated theoretical and structural formulas for management and operation. He also underscored the importance of completing the legal and technical requirements in accordance with established procedures, ensuring that the project keeps pace with developments in the use of modern technologies and techniques.

Additionally, the meeting resulted in the formation of a specialized committee tasked with preparing the legal frameworks. This effort will be conducted in collaboration with the global consulting company Oliver Wyman, which is responsible for the advisory aspect related to the Development Road.
