Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has directed the selection of a specialized and reputable company to operate Mosul International Airport.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from al-Sudani's media office detailed that the Prime Minister held a meeting with the Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir Ahmed Dakhil, on Sunday. The meeting focused on reviewing the general conditions in the governorate and assessing the progress of service and strategic projects, including Mosul International Airport.
The Prime Minister instructed the Civil Aviation Authority and the Governor of Nineveh to ensure the selection of a specialized and reputable company to manage the airport's operations, adhering to international standards. The statement further underscored the importance of completing significant development projects in the governorate within the designated specifications and timelines.
