Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has underscored the critical need for coordinated efforts to ensure the Iraqi national football team’s qualification for the 2026 World Cup. In a recent meeting, Al-Sudani emphasized this objective as paramount for the nation’s sporting ambitions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Prime Minister’s office revealed that Al-Sudani met with Adnan Darjal, President of the Iraqi Football Association, alongside members of the Federation’s Executive Office.
