Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani underscored the vital need to bolster national unity and the cohesion of society, emphasizing that these elements are crucial for achieving stability and upholding the rule of law.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office released a statement detailing al-Sudani’s meeting with a delegation from the Tribal Council of the districts of Tuz Khurmatu and Amerli in Salah al-Din Governorate. During this meeting, discussions centered on the social, economic, and service conditions in the districts, especially in relation to the ongoing projects aimed at providing essential services to the citizens according to the government’s prioritized program.
Al-Sudani highlighted the pivotal role that tribes play in supporting state agencies, reinforcing the rule of law, and laying the groundwork for security and stability across the nation. He reiterated the significance of fortifying national unity and the unity of society with its diverse components as a pathway to achieving sustained stability and adherence to the rule of law.
