BAGHDAD: The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, has underscored the necessity for continuous field presence and a unified approach among all security forces, alongside the integration of strategic plans across various units. According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sudani's remarks came during his visit to the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command in Baghdad. The Prime Minister addressed the current situation and emerging challenges in the region, emphasizing the importance of cohesive operations amid ongoing developments. Al-Sudani reviewed the progress of security operations and stressed the need to adapt plans in line with new developments. The statement from al-Sudani's media office highlighted discussions on the armament strategy, focusing on the development of security forces as per the approved strategy and bilateral agreements with advanced countries. The Prime Minister indicated that this issue remains a top priority for the government, aiming to enhance the capabilities of security forces through international cooperation.
