Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani emphasized that the 1,000 Schools Project, part of the Iraqi-Chinese agreement, is a fundamental step in enhancing the infrastructure of the education sector. During a videoconference inauguration of 210 model schools across various Iraqi governorates, Al-Sudani remarked on the significant attention his government has given to education.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani stated that the project’s primary objective is to tackle the issue of triple-shift schooling, which affects educational quality. He assured that the construction of schools is in progress, with plans to meet the needs of all governorates in terms of school buildings.
