Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani emphasized that open dialogues have become an integral part of Iraq’s political strategy. He declared that the country has transitioned from a period of wars and conflicts to one of peace and stability, marking a new era of integration with the international community.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister articulated that the government’s policy is anchored on the principle of “Iraq First.” He underlined Iraq’s openness at both regional and international levels as part of an ongoing approach to expand economic partnerships. Al-Sudani specifically mentioned the Development Road Project, describing it as an economic, cultural, and social bridge that links Asia to Europe.

He further revealed that Iraq is on the brink of negotiations with countries in the international coalition to establish a clear framework for joint cooperation in confronting terrorism. Al-Sudani highlighted that Iraq maintains strong relations with coalition members, especially the United States of America.

The Prime Minister also expressed optimism about completing the procedures for resuming oil exports through the port of Ceyhan. He pointed out that the region is experiencing significant transformations not seen for decades.

In addition, Al-Sudani mentioned the harsh war in Gaza and Lebanon, which was launched by occupation forces and targeted essential life necessities. He affirmed that Iraq has worked diligently to avoid being drawn into conflict and has provided support to Lebanon and Palestine through aid.
