Baghdad: Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani affirmed that the 1920 Revolution represented a cry of rejection of colonialism and the beginning of the establishment of the Iraqi state.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a speech at the General Conference of Bani Hajim Tribes in Baghdad and Muthanna Governorates today, al-Sudani said, “When the terrorist ISIS gangs took control of a significant part of Iraq, the role of the tribesmen was present.”
