Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani emphasized the significant role of Iraqi women within the nation’s governmental framework, underscoring their involvement in ambitious programs. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to prioritizing the contributions of women in every facet of development and progress.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani conveyed these sentiments during a tweet marking the National Day of Iraqi Women. He expressed a desire for Iraqi women to excel across various life and work spheres, aiming for parity in opportunities with men in serving the nation.

He further elaborated that the celebration of the National Day of Iraqi Women, as endorsed by the Council of Ministers, serves to integrate these efforts into governmental and societal functions. Al-Sudani recognized Iraqi women as a source of pride, whether in family settings, professional environments, educational pursuits, or political roles at all levels.
