Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani launched the construction of an infant formula factory for all stages of development, as well as fortified nutritional products, with a capacity of 9 million food packages annually.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the new facility aims to enhance the availability of essential nutritional products for infants and children across the nation. The factory is expected to produce a wide range of products catering to various developmental stages, ensuring that nutritional needs are met effectively.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to improve health and nutrition standards in the country. The factory’s annual capacity of 9 million food packages signifies a substantial increase in the domestic production capabilities for infant nutrition, which is crucial for supporting the health of the younger population.
