Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani chaired a meeting on Sunday focused on the implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 320 of 2022, which aims to convert state-owned agricultural lands into residential lands. This meeting included advisors and officials from the Baghdad Municipality alongside departments responsible for managing state real estate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani commended the specialized committee and its staff for their progress in completing procedures necessary for issuing land titles to citizens. This progress aligns with regulations and instructions, following the completion of designs for residential complexes. The meeting also assessed areas where land title work is complete and those still undergoing procedures.

The Prime Minister instructed that the process of issuing and delivering bonds should be made more efficient. He emphasized the need for establishing easy payment methods in accordance with the law and studying the issuance of related decisions to regulate the process.
