Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has received a letter of thanks from Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. The letter, delivered by Lebanese MP Qabalan Qabalan, expressed appreciation for Iraq's supportive role towards the Lebanese people.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the letter was handed over during a meeting where Al-Sudani emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in various fields. He reiterated Iraq's commitment to supporting Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and highlighted the need for collaborative efforts in launching Lebanon's reconstruction process and enhancing its security and stability.

Qabalan, representing Berri, expressed Lebanon's pride in its historical ties with Iraq. He acknowledged Iraq's significant contributions in supporting Lebanon and its pivotal role in maintaining regional stability.
