Al-Sudani stresses the importance of exchanging experiences with Morocco in the fight against extremism and terrorism

Baghdad, The Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, stressed the importance of exchanging experiences with Morocco in the file of combating extremism and terrorism.

According to a statement by his media office, Al-Sudani received, today, Saturday, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, and his accompanying delegation.

The Moroccan minister conveyed the greetings of King Mohammed VI of Morocco to the Prime Minister, and his desire for the relationship between the two countries to move to advanced stages of fruitful cooperation.

Al-Sudani, according to the statement, blessed the reopening of the Moroccan embassy in Iraq, after years of its closure, stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and exchanging experiences with Morocco in the fight against extremism and terrorism, and in the areas of economic, agricultural and banking cooperation, as well as prospects for cooperation in the field of clean energy and education. Tourism and culture.

The meeting witnessed confirmation of the resumption of work in the joint committee between Iraq and Morocco, setting a date for the convening of the economic forum for businessmen between Morocco and Iraq, and establishing mutual facilities for granting entry visas between the two countries.
